This Seller Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of DunzoKart.com (“Platform”) as a registered seller. By creating a seller account, listing products, or selling through DunzoKart, you (“Seller”) agree to the terms set forth by Nexevel Innovation (OPC) Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”).
- Seller Eligibility & Verification
- Sellers must complete the registration process by providing valid documents:
- PAN Card
- GST Registration Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhaar/Company Incorporation Certificate
- Bank Account Details
- Address Proof
- DunzoKart will verify seller details before approval. Verification process typically takes 2–3 business days (TAT).
- Only after successful verification can sellers start listing products.
- Product Listings & Approval
- Sellers must create accurate product listings with genuine titles, descriptions, images, MRP, and selling price.
- Every product listing submitted by the seller will be individually reviewed by DunzoKart’s Quality & Compliance Team.
- Only approved listings will be published on the website.
- Listings found misleading, incomplete, or in violation of policies will be rejected or suspended.
- Prohibited & Restricted Items
Sellers are strictly prohibited from listing or selling the following products on DunzoKart:
- Adult/Obscene Products: Sex toys, pornography, escort services.
- Alcoholic Beverages: Liquor, beer, wine, spirits, or any alcohol-based products.
- Tobacco & Smoking Products: Cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vapes, gutka, pan masala.
- Illegal/Controlled Substances: Drugs, narcotics, cannabis, CBD oils, banned pharmaceuticals.
- Weapons & Ammunition: Guns, explosives, fireworks, knives, stun guns, or military-grade equipment.
- Counterfeit & Pirated Goods: Fake branded items, copied software, movies, or books.
- Lottery, Betting & Gambling products.
- Hazardous & Restricted Items: Chemicals, acids, radioactive materials.
- Human & Animal Parts: Ivory, skins, organs, protected wildlife products.
- Other Prohibited Products under Indian Law (IT Act, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Arms Act, etc.).
DunzoKart reserves the right to remove, block, or permanently ban sellers who attempt to list prohibited items.
- Pricing & Commission
- Sellers set their own selling price, inclusive of GST (if applicable).
- DunzoKart charges a commission fee per successful sale.
- DunzoKart also charges customers a ₹1 platform fee per product, which is non-refundable and retained by us.
- Order Processing & Shipping
- Sellers must process and dispatch orders within 1–3 business days of receiving confirmation.
- Sellers can choose:
- DunzoKart Logistics (preferred option), or
- Self-shipping with valid tracking.
- Non-compliance with shipping timelines may result in penalties or suspension.
- Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
- Sellers must comply with DunzoKart’s Refund & Returns Policy.
- For defective/damaged/incorrect products, sellers bear return shipping costs.
- For buyer-initiated “change of mind” returns, costs may be shared.
- Refunds will be adjusted against seller payouts.
- Seller Obligations
- Maintain sufficient stock of listed items.
- Ensure all products are genuine, new, and legally compliant.
- Issue GST invoices where applicable.
- Provide customer support for order-related queries.
- Cooperate with DunzoKart’s grievance redressal system.
- Monitoring & Compliance
- DunzoKart actively monitors all seller activities to ensure trust and safety.
- Each listing is manually reviewed and approved before going live.
- DunzoKart reserves the right to delist or suspend any product or seller without prior notice in case of violations.
- Continuous monitoring of customer reviews, returns, and complaints will influence seller rankings and payouts.
- Payment & Settlement
- Seller payouts will be made within 7–10 business days post successful delivery.
- Commission, platform fee, penalties (if any), and return charges will be deducted.
- DunzoKart may withhold payments if fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.
- Liability & Indemnity
- Sellers are solely responsible for their listed products, quality, safety, and legal compliance.
- Sellers shall indemnify DunzoKart and its parent company Nexevel Innovation (OPC) Private Limited against any legal claims, damages, penalties, or losses arising due to their listings or transactions.
- Suspension & Termination
DunzoKart reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts under these conditions:
- Listing prohibited/banned products.
- Repeated cancellation or delay in order fulfillment.
- Fraudulent or unethical practices.
- Violation of DunzoKart policies or Indian laws.
Sellers may voluntarily terminate their account with a 30-day written notice, subject to clearing outstanding dues.

Chargeback & Dispute Liability

In the event that a Customer initiates a chargeback (or equivalent reversal dispute) due to the Seller’s product, delivery, listing or service fault such as non-delivery, wrong item, damaged goods, misleading description, unfulfilled service or other similar issues the Seller agrees that:
a. The amount disputed by the Customer (including transaction amount, refund, shipping and handling fees, and any associated chargeback fees) shall be recovered from the Seller’s settlement/payout by DunzoKart.
b. DunzoKart reserves the right to withhold all or part of the Seller’s payout pending resolution of the chargeback.
c. The Seller shall cooperate fully with DunzoKart and the payment gateway or acquirer by providing all required documentation (proof of shipment, delivery confirmation/tracking, correspondence with the Customer, photo/video evidence) to contest the chargeback.
d. If the dispute is resolved in favor of DunzoKart (or the payment gateway/acquirer), any withheld funds shall be released to the Seller, less the applicable commission and fees. If the dispute is resolved in favor of the Customer, the Seller remains fully liable for the full amount of the chargeback by DunzoKart or the payment gateway/acquirer.

The Seller agrees to maintain a chargeback rate of more then 5% of total monthly orders (Notice), more then 10% of total monthly orders (Suspend) as defined by DunzoKart and to immediately address any trend of excessive chargebacks or dispute-related claims. DunzoKart reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate Seller’s account if such thresholds are breached or repeated violations occur.

DunzoKart is responsible only for platform-related issues (technical payment failures, system errors, documented platform faults) and not for any losses or chargebacks arising from the Seller’s business operations, product quality, logistics or customer service.

By accepting this Agreement and listing Products on DunzoKart, the Seller acknowledges and agrees to abide by this chargeback policy and accepts liability for all chargebacks arising from customer-initiated disputes relating to the Seller’s fulfilment, product, service or listing.
- Amendments
DunzoKart reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Updated policies will be communicated via seller dashboards or email. Continued usage implies acceptance.
